The charm of monument

Looking at a monument we feel its power and charm. The impact that has on us lays its incomplete form that allows the observers to imagine the missing details according to their sensitivity and aesthetics. What is left of this contact is pure pleasure of our sense admiring the past (as long as we avoid idealize them).

It makes no difference if the monument were partly destroyed by man or time. What is important of them to achieve is, to create a poetic atmosphere in spite of their historic significance.

Therefore the series of these paintings hopefully aims to offer you an absolute enjoyment of senses too.
